It is old news that MGM CityCenter is reducing prices 30% in an effort to convert contract holders into actual sales and perhaps sell some previously unsold inventory. At upwards of $700 psf they have a real challenge on their hands. With MGM CITYCENTER's announcement this past Monday of a 30% price cut, to incentivize pre-construction buyers to close escrow, came the analogy by MGM/Mirage execs that this reduction would keep prices in line with those of TRUMP and Palms Place.
