Rocker Eddie Van Halen announced today that he has proposed to his girlfriend, 38 year-old actress and stunt woman Janie Liszewski, who became Van Halen’s publicist in 2007. He popped the question in a private room at a Tiffany’s store while on vacation in Hawaii.

“They are happy, healthy, very much in love and looking forward to living life together forever. They are devoted to each other and to experiencing life in a whole new, positive and passionate way,” a source tells FoxNews.com. According to the source, the couple plans to marry next June.

Van Halen was previously married to actress Valerie Bertinelli. This will be Liszewski’s first marriage.

SUNDAY! Okay, we realize we didn't post on Friday or Saturday, but before you all start drinking Haterade and going ghetto on us, there is an explanation. It involves Valerie Bertinelli, a BIG misunderstanding, the Palm Springs Police Department and, as usual, our night school educated public defender. Remember cute little Valerie when she was on that TV show "One Day at a Time," before she got together with Eddie Van Halen and started living like she was married to a rock star or something.

Ok, so you all know that for the last twenty years she never met a Krispy Creme donut that she didn't like, right? Well times change and her spare abdomen along with Eddie and his cheap-ass guitar playing are both gone like an open wallet in a Mississippi whorehouse. It's a complete life makeover and it's all thanks to Jenny Craig (Jenny's cuisine is additional!) who has destroyed more marriages than a Rust Belt tramp. Seriously, have you ever noticed that the first thing fat chicks do when they "just say no" to Costco sized bags of Ruffles and lose 50 pounds is to go shopping at Bebe and then leave their husbands? (Look, don't give us that self-esteem crap - we don't have ANY self-esteem and we're not porkers!)

Anyway, so thin and single Valerie Bertinelli (ever wonder why she never changed her name to Valerie Van Halen since she was married to him for 20 years?) shows up out here in Palm Springs, Kevin starts chatting her up about giving him a "freebie" lap dance and the next thing you know the cops were on him like a doberman on a raw Porterhouse steak. He got hauled away to the "Mobile Incident Command Center," they booked him on some bogus charge of making a terrorist threat and before we knew it the weekend was gone! Well, he could've been sprung sooner but our Public Defender was drunk at some Kentucky Derby party and it took most of Saturday to sober him up and get a judge paid off to drop the charges. So, lesson learned? YOU BETCHA! We'll never ask for a lap dance from anybody again without flashing a few bucks first...


Would one free lap dance have killed her?     Kevin was dragged into the Command Center like a sack of dog food!

Valerie Bertinelli, as we all know her best for the One Day at a Time Sitcom from 1975-84 has always been an American sweetheart, a girl-next-door teen from the '70s and '80s. She was also popular when we learned that she married Rock Star Eddie Van Halen. Her last role was in "Touched by an Angel" in 2003. The Latest Celebrity Gossip is that she has now become the new face and body behind Jenny Craig. Valerie Bertinelli is 5'2, 47 years old, and vows to lose 30 lbs. by September. She wants to go from a size 14 to a size 8.

With todays society being the way it is making women feel like they have to be so skinny. It took a huge effect on Valerie. She has always felt that she was fat, always had weight problems as a child. So when the opportunity arose for her being the new face and body behind the New Jenny Craig spokes person. She took that opportunity. This will give her the motivation she needs. Going public is the only way to do it. Says Celebrity Gossip.

According to Extra Celebrity News Kirstie Alley has lost 75 lbs on Jenny Craig, she offered Valerie Bertinelli some advice, telling her that if her son Wolfie (16 years Old) or ex husband " Hall of Fame rocker Eddie Van Halen want to go out to eat burgers, or other kinds of fast food. She recommended not to do it as the paparazzi will always be around when you least expect it to photograph you!' "

The Jenny Craig campaign will shoot a new ad every month on her progress . Celebrity News admits that Valerie does not state how much she weighs, her boyfriend Tom Vitale who she has been with for the past 3 years doesnt ever know how much she weighs. She states that she will not tell him until she has reached her goal.

She cannot understand how her size 14 has become obese in society today, and size 0 seems to be a normal size. Valerie was always weight conscious as a child, always struggled with her weight, but she says that it not even close as to what the girls of today are experiencing. Society today is totally insane.

Bertinelli appeared on the Oprah show. She spoke about her new autobigraphyLosing It and Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time. Since last March Bertinelli has lost 40 pounds and is now a size 6.

With stars on shows like “90210″ getting skinnier at a controversial rate, Valerie Bertinelli is getting candid with ET about the pressure to be thin in Hollywood!

“I think we’re all sick of trying to be a ‘Skinny Minnie,’” says the Jenny Craig spokesperson. “Not all of us are born that way. A lot of us have to struggle, and we don’t want to struggle anymore. We just want to be happy in the size that we’re in, and the food that we’re eating, and that’s what happens when you eat Jenny.”

After shedding 40 pounds, Valerie tells ET she’s reached her ideal size, and the goal is all about how you feel, not who you compare yourself to.

“It doesn’t matter what’s on the scale, or what jean size you’re wearing — but how do you feel?” she says. “Are you comfortable in your body? What’s your ideal size? What does that mean to you?”

With the Jenny Craig Ideal Size Challenge, Jenny is holding a photo and video contest to find a co-star to appear with Valerie in her fun-filled commercials, but the former “One Day at a Time” star is clearly having a tough time picking just one person!

“I would let everybody win if it was up to me,” she says. “They all sound like me — where I was a year ago, and where I am today. I don’t know how anyone’s going to pick. I just don’t want to pick because they’re all fabulous.”

Valerie Bertinelli told Oprah during a taping today a shocking revelation.

Bertinelli says she cheated on Eddie Van Halen during their marriage, and that Eddie believes she cheated on him first before Eddie eventually cheated on her.

Hey, why doesn’t the whole family cheat? Let’s keep it consistent, shall we!

What a mess!

Bertinelli says she was hurt by infidelity and substance abuse. You think?
