Nissan to break ground on engine plant
Nissan will break ground this morning on a second engine plant in Decherd, Tenn., The Associated Press reports.
An existing plant in Decherd makes engines for the Infinity JX. The new facility will assemble engines for Infiniti models and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Franklin-based Nissan North America has not announced how many people will work at the plant, which is set to open in 2014.
