My mom always told me, it doesn’t matter what you wear, rather it is how you carry yourself. I’ve always been a big fan of Audrey Hepburn’s style. Her ’50s beatnik-influenced clothes were the perfect compliment to her rebellious character in Funny Face. The detail and craftsmanship of her Givenchy gowns in Sabrina, were the perfect fantasy for Audrey’s character transformation from girl over the garage to elegant lady. Though her clothes were beautiful and fashionable in her films, then and now; she was never outshadowed by her clothes.
