He apparently shopped the tapes around to various sources, asking for $100,000 in exchange for exclusive rights to the tapes. After getting turned down by several TV networks, Radar Online eventually signed a deal with Michael, getting the tapes for free by paying him an undisclosed sum for an accompanying interview.
