New Shade Plants Originally uploaded by aliciadesignWell I was finally able to pick up $20 in plants and get more color in our front yard. This little planter has been a problem area so far. This pink plumeria tree is in and in full bloom right now and creates a lot of shade here. I thought this would be a full sun area because it is on the south side of the house. The past owners had planted hedges and dug out this piece of concrete so that the hedge would grow across. They had 4 large dogs that would bark at the kids leaving school.
