On the road! Phoenix, Arizona
professional photographer convention DWF Phoenix USA Rosie Parsons
So I'm over half way through my first trip to Arizona - I'm here for a wedding photography conference with the world's leading wedding photographers, so it's been an amazing trip! Most days seminars start at 8:30am and run all day, so I've been pretty tired but have certainly gained a lot of knowledge!I also had the chance to pop along to ImagingUSA, a huge photography trade show in Phoenix on Tuesday morning which was really interesting. Here are some highlights - I'l... Read Full Story
Dodmoor House wedding
northampton wedding photographers
Finally another blog update! It's been a bit quiet since November, as I've been catching up with album designs, print orders and marketing. Last weekend I helped out fellow photographer Sarah Vivienne at one of her weddings at the lovely Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire. I love working with Sarah - we have very similar styles, but manage to get really different perspectives on the same event and she is great fun to be around. The wedding was Chris and Helen's, and they had some w... Read Full Story
Dulwich wedding - Gavin & Charlotte
Gosh what a blustery afternoon for Gavin and Charlotte's big day! Yes it is November, but I think even Charlotte was a bit shocked at seeing the sheets of rain coming down horizontally against the backdrop of a thunderous sky!The wedding was held at Ascention Hill in Balham, London with the reception to follow 3 miles down the road at Dulwich College, which is such a gorgeous building!I loved the little cakes that were served after the ceremony, and the hen day music video with all the gi... St Pauls Cathedral wedding - Stephanie & James
st pauls wedding
Had a wonderful time photographing James and Stephanie's fantastic wedding last weekend at St Paul's Cathedral in London, followed by an amazing Hong Kong themed reception at nearby Skinners Hall. The day started by meeting up with James and his best man having a cut throat shave at the oldest barbershop in the world, the very gentlemanly Truefitt & Hill near Green Park - definitely a sophisticated way to start your wedding day! It made for some really fun photographs - especially ... Read Full Story
Women's Breakfast - Oxford Vineyard
I don't usually take my camera too much to social events, mainly because it weighs a lot and the work I always do to give my images their certain "polish" takes a significant amount of time. However it's fun to combine photography with relaxation when the images can be used for a good cause. Sunday morning was the church women's breakfast. It was so nice to hang out with some of my favourite friends - although I did have to promise not to capture them eating on camera! T... Read Full Story

Mary and Ard are getting married in New York later this year, but they wanted some fab engagement photos taken in Oxford showing off some of the city's amazing architecture. We had a great morning shooting in some of the Oxford colleges and I especially love the shots against the blue background, which make for some really fun and striking portraits!Wedding, portrait and engagement photography by Rosie Parsons http://www.foreverafterimages.com Read Full Story
Tythe Barn Bicester - Emily & Ian Wedding Photos
tythe barn bicester
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Ian and Emily's lovely wedding at The Tythe Barn in Bicester, a beautiful 14th century thatched converted barn. It is a really amazing venue for a wedding - Emily made the most beautiful entrance with her Dad by walking up an avenue of trees, then a lavender lined pergola and finally turned the corner to walk up towards Ian under a canopy of wisteria. Wow!It was all a bit touch and go with the weather - and we weren't sure whether it was go... Read Full Story
Windsor and Pinewood Studios wedding photographs
Pinewood Studios wedding photographs
I had the most fantastic day a couple of Saturdays ago photographing Lee and Melody's beautiful summer wedding at the Royal Chapel in Windsor Castle and then on to Heatherden Hall at Pinewood Studios in Iver for their stunning reception. The weather had been forecast to be terrible for Saturday, but despite a little bit of rain up until 10am it ended up being one of the nicest days of the year so far! Melody's two brothers were in the choir for the ceremony, and I just love the photog... Read Full Story
