Sir Elton John, 62, was released from a London hospital after treatment for an e.coli infection. Sir Elton was hospitalised at a private facility with influenza and a serious bacterial gut infection last weekend. His civil spouse, David Furnish, had said Sir Elton was fine and would be released within two to three days. But no reports to update his condition were made available through the week.
