Photo Agency Actor Christian Slater never thought he’d survive to turn 40 back in his Hollywood hellraising days. He said: I just hit 40, so what more can I say? I mean, the fact that I'm 40 is a miracle. I'm on the other side now. I feel like I've hit a certain milestone and I'm going onward and upward. If I were looking back, I would say to myself during the tough times, 'If you can make it to 40, nothing in the past can prevent you from being present today.' There's a great author who said, 'We don't live life, life kind ... Read Full Story

Why all the ‘recycling’ stories are always from Fox is a very strange query – but here’s yet another: The suits in charge of  running Fox TV are now preparing a TV-reworking of the High School-angst movie, Heathers. First released in March of 1989 by Columbia Pictures the ‘crime-drama-romance,’ to quote its PR, gave Christian Slater and Winona Ryder their major film breaks. At this point, NBC has yet to decide if unaired episodes of the now cancelled My Own Worst Enemy will run in the 10 p.m. Monday time slot. Read Full Story

I recently wrote a piece on Squidoo about the life and work of Christian Slater which you can access here http://www.squidoo.com/Christian-Slater since seeing his brand new TV series “My Own Worst Enemy”, and being very impressed by his performance. While researching this piece I realised that although I had always liked what I saw of his work, I had only just scratched the surface. As I was looking to update this lens, I decided to watch some more of his films. I discussed this with my partner, whose opinion of him was that he ALWAYS played the “bad guy” in movies! Therefore, I searched ... Read Full Story

Christian Slater is planning to return to TV in ABC’s “The Forgotten” – he was last seen on the failed “My Own Worst Enemy” on NBC. “Forgotten” comes from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and, if Christian Slater’s negotiations go through, will star Slater as a former cop whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped.
