The season was spring/summer 2003. That was the season when I first discovered the magical fantastic world of Fashion and you know what? Cacharel was one of the first houses that I first loved. At least 5 whole years have passed and lots have occurred to my life as well as within the France-based fashion house with the change of appointment in creative director twice. Although Cacharel has been quite quiet recently, evident of this is that the collections have unfortunately not been featured on style.com since Spring/Summer 2003 ( link ), the house does not cease to produce things that I simply adore. ... Luella, Marios Schwab, Christopher Kane LONDON, Sep 22, 2009 / — London went into a girly-girl frenzy with femininity making a welcome return to the catwalk. Christopher Kane led the style stakes with his hotly anticpated catwalk show. A knockout selection of gingham chiffon, fan pleating, puff sleeves, and thigh-split dresses stole the show. First up was the quintessentially British Amanda Wakeley, who showed a typically elegant collection of molten metallic dresses in shades of gold, silver, cinammon and copper. A total contrast to the ‘coming of age’ theme to Basso & Brooke’s show, which saw the Brazilian/English design duo send their models down ... Read Full Story

Pixie Geldof, who also modeled the collection, had a toy frog attached to her waist. We're not sure about the outfit here, but the puppy sure is cute.(Photo by Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images)

Our final report from the fashion frontline at Vauxhall Fashion Scout last week which ended with Menswear Day. Menswear at London Fashion Week normally features further down the pecking order to womenswear designers. Unfortunately as an unwarranted result of this, it sparks less attention and smaller crowds. However, collections by designer’s Komakino and Satyenkumar at Vauxhall Fashion Scout did not disappoint in terms of quirkiness...
