Regis and Kelly In The Morning Snoozefest
First there was Regis and Kathie Lee. They were entertaining. They definitely appealed to a given demographic. Stay at home moms and wives I'm sure found them to be a welcome addition to their mornings. I never got that much into the show. News has begun to spread that one of the best crime dramas on television could be in danger. The HBO mainstay Dexter, the story of a serial killer working as a blood spatter expert with the Miami Police Department, may be in trouble. For my two cents, I just don't buy it. This show is great. If you haven't caught an episode just yet, go catch up. It is the kind of show that helps to watch from the beginning. Numerous previous story lines are constantly referred to throughout and knowin... Read Full Story

Push Play Rocks The Tween Scene
It is remarkable to me how the face of pop music has changed. When I was a kid there was definitely those popular bands that most people were embarrassed to admit they enjoyed. A certain group that rhymes with Buran Buran comes to mind.I seem to remember however, that while there were a few of these groups controlling the top spots on the pop chart there were still several great rock bands prominently appearing on the radio. Despite some synthesized group getting air play, you could still cat... Read Full Story

Review: Chris Rock's Kill the Messenger
Just got a chance to catch Chris Rock's Kill the Messenger this weekend. I had not seen Rock's stand-up for quite a while. The last concert of his that I was fortunate enough to see was his Never Scared. Historically Chris Rock will put out a good HBO special. His previous works were edgy, cutting at the everyday social fabric that weaves its way through the modern world's presentation of such things as race relations and culture. His stuff has been really funny since he left SNL ... Read Full Story
