Avril Lavigne is one of the best-selling artists in the US, having sold around 30 million albums globally. She's also dabbled in her own clothing line called Abbey Dawn, her own fragrance, and several film and television appearances. In 2007, Forbes listed her among their 20 Top-Earning Young Superstars, estimating her 2006-07 salary at $12 million. As the frontman for the band Sum 41, Whibley has a few platinum and gold records under his belt, so he's probably doing just fine. Their combined wealth in 2008 totalled around $18 million! Not bad for the under-30 celebs.


Attractiveness.
No matter how you feel about the punk thing, Avril is an undeniably cute girl. Still, she should update her wardrobe now that she's 24, because she's still dressing like a 13-year-old. Deryck has a hard-edge aesthetic that often leads him to try unflattering hairstyles, but all in all he's pretty average-looking.


Popularity.
Surprise: People still LOVE Avril Lavigne. She inspired around 2.75 million Google searches last month, far more than Deryck's 33,000. Maybe he'd get some publicity if he performed with his wife more often?

These two started dating in 2004 and tied the knot a couple of years later. They haven't had any other highly-publicized romances, or any kids yet, so their age (she's 24) is the only thing working against them in this category. And the rumors that accompany Avril's wild partying of late.
