After shooting Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Johnny Depp became the highest-paid actor for a single role in the history of film. He reportedly earned around $78 million for his performance, and he's raked in more than $106 million from the whole trilogy. Add to that three Academy Award nominations and a Golden Globe win, and you have arguably the most valuable actor in Hollywood. He's even been successful at the box office, as his movies have grossed more than $4.7 billion globally. Vanessa spreads herself thin as a singer, model and actress, but she's excelled in each field. Her albums have topped the French charts, she won a Cesar Award for Most Promising Actress, and she's the current face of Miu Miu. She also earned around $330,000 for the 2004 film Mon Ange.


Attractiveness.
Vanessa is widely known as one of France's loveliest faces. In fact, she previously worked as the face of Chanel's fragrance "Coco." Johnny's signature style, piercing eyes and uncontrollable hair made him People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2003.

Last month, around a million people searched for Depp and 50,000 for Paradis on Google.com, enough to place them in the top half of our list in the popularity category.


Staying Power.
This is tricky: Though this couple has been together since 1998, their romantic histories suggest a penchant for dating in Hollywood. Depp's been linked to Winona Ryder and Kate Moss, while Paradis dated Lenny Kravitz. Still, they have two children together and consider themselves to be married, even though they haven't officially tied the knot. Compatibility.
Depp is a solid Gemini, but Paradis's birthday is on the Capricorn/Sagittarius cusp.
