John Travolta Wears Jeans to the 2010 Oscars

John Travolta, however, didn't see the need to dress up for the occasion.
Travolta wore jeans to the Oscars (Bauer Griffin)The actor showed up for the ceremony Sunday night in jeans, and although he didn't walk the red carpet, he did walk onstage to present an award. He caused a bit of a stir in the blogosphere, with many seeing his attire as a lack of respect, or a slap in the face of the Oscars producers.
Travolta probably meant no offense to the Academy, and maybe he was just trying to look trendy. But a Gucci suit would have worked just as well, sir.
