Bigfoot Alive and Well, Quite Productive, Too

So we're a bit confused. Today, there was a huge press conference in Palo Alto held by Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer who claim to have the body of a yeti, preserved in some freezer. CNN, ABC et al are covering the event.

What's the big deal? We've had a sasquach working in our office for 4 months and not one news outlet has picked up the story. This is probably a good thing. Too many distractions would no doubt affect office productivity. Here are some photos taken of this beautiful creature, seen for the first time in its natural environment.

Bigfoot likes to crunch numbers as well as the skulls of deer. Bigfoot's a data junky deeply concerned with the bottom line. Here it is at the whiteboard. We just trained it to stop eating the dry erase markers. Good Bigfoot!

When it's not locked in the server room for the night, it's one of the more helpful employees, often offering unsolicited advice on a wide range of topics. It's seen here explaining to one of our Associate Editors the difference between a dangling modifier and a dangling participle.

"A dangling modifier is a participle in an absolute clause that may appear elsewhere in the sentence from the subject it modifies," it said.

Bigfoot knows spreadsheet, too.

Zimbio Super News!

Anthrax case closed. U.S. Postal Inspection Service Chief, Alexander Lazaroff, shown here not taking shit from anyone, looks on during a news conference announcing that the FBI has solved the 2001 anthrax attack case. Apparently the suicidal bio-weapons scientist who was acting inexplicably strange and often disappearing away to the specialized anthrax-making equipment did it. To understand why it took 7 years to crack this case, here's page 698 of the lead investigator's notebook: "Dear... Read Full Story
