Brian McKnight 's vision of putting together a successful television career is coming true with the CW Plus based 'The Brian McKnight Show' ! As reported on Singersroom last summer, Brian McKnight revealed plans for a variety and entertainment based show and had been shopping the series. According to the CW, whose network CW Plus covers the nation's top 100 markets, Brian McKnight has been added to their fall 2009 line up. McKnight, known widely for the R&B/soul classics "Anytime" and "Back At One," will host the entertainment/variety show every weekend. Upon seeing this headline, I was immediately bombarded with frightening images of ridiculously corny Wayne Brady skits. The soundtrack to my horrific experience was a cheesy compilation of Christmas carols equipped with improv comedy interludes.
