Large Calf Boots
From the beginning I was a heavy set person. With that said, it was always hard for me to find boots and clothes that fit correctly.
If you are like me, it is difficult to locate a sexy footware becuase of my larger calves. Instead of an pleasant shopping experience, it becomes a long, drawn-out process to firstly find eye catching, fashionable boots in a style that I love -- and then its iffy whether or not the pair of boots will slide or zip up over my calves.
I have spent many years attempting to locate the correct pair of womens wide calf boot that fit my special body style. I went for years not wearing boots comfortably because I couldn't find any that fit my calves correctly. Imade it my passion for myself and others like me to find boots that anyone could enjoy, not just those skinny girls. Below I have outlined the four genres of boots that I believe are best for ladies with bigger calfves.
Now there is an alternative to the frustrating trip to the boot department. Most of the battle is finding a boot that correctly fits the shape of the lower legs.
Here's a short list of a few styles of boots that tend to work for large calves:
Scrunch Boots: These are slouch styledboots that are soft enough to gently push down near the ankle. The "scrunch" effect gives the boot a more casual look. In terms of fit, the "scrunch" allows you to move the boots down the leg to make for a great comfortable fit around your calf.
2. Zipper: You're most likely familiar with this type. I have found that a small stretch panel allows the boot to zip up tightly around the calves.
3. Stretch Boots: Boots that have stretch leather are a dream for fitting larger calves. It provides just enough ease to fit large calves. Although this style enables room for calves that are a tad larger than some, on occassion an actual extra wide calf boot is necessay.
4. Sweater knit Boots: This style another leisure type boot. The foot of the boot is made completely out of leather while the main part of the boot shaft is produced of knit fabric. This particular style works really well for bigger calves. Additionally, they are super cute, and perfect for everyday occassions. This are definitely my favorite style of boots.
