Lily Allen's love life is back on track. Earlier this year the singer split from Jay Jopling, a millionaire art dealer 20 years her senior, but lately she's been spotted with a more age-appropriate man, a regular Joe named Sam Cooper.

Cooper isn't famous. In fact, according to The Sun he's a painter and decorator in North London who sounds much more down to earth than most of the other people Lily surrounds herself with (ahem, Lindsay Lohan). Said a source:
Lil is tired of only ever being involved with well-known blokes. She wanted to go out with someone her own age who isn't involved in music or the media. [Sam] grafts hard for a living as a painter and decorator and leads a totally normal life.

Lily is completely smitten with him. They have known each other for a while but have only just started dating properly. How Cooper will hold up in Lily's party sphere remains to be seen. Let's hope he doesn't mind inappropriate sibling comments and understands the difference between people who are good and bad at taking drugs.
