Vin Diesel Having just backed out of Sony’s “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage starring” Vin Diesel, director Rob Cohen has signed on to direct the event-sized action film Medieval for New Regency, which is a story described as The Magnificent Seven set in the Middle Ages. According to Variety, New Regency acquired the spec script by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch in an $800,000 against $1.6 million deal. McG will be involved in a producing capacity. Vin Diesel 's return as thrill seeker Xander Cage has been left hanging in the balance after director Rob Cohen pulled out of the third XXX movie. Chief: Before watching the newest install of The Fast & Furious, I had a chance to watch the old ones to make quick comparisons.  I'll make it short, I mean, it's F&F, it hardly deserves an essay.   The Fast and Furious Relatively unknown cast then in 2001, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.
