Our home for a day: Summit Parkview Hotel in Yangon After an short flight from Thailand, we arrived at Myanmar’s Yangon airport around 8:30AM to be greeted by about fifteen of our old friends. Some of our team who are Heaven’s Family staff were blessed to meet people with whom they’ve been corresponding by email for some months about projects here. So those were especially blessed introductions. Our hotel is within walking distance of the Shwedagon Pagoda—the major tourist attraction here—but everyone on our team was more inclined to go to bed after a late breakfast.
