Sheffield town centre
So my last post, ages ago, was unfortunately about the redevelopment of the Moor- which now seems to have stopped completely. If you have seen the rubble lately, it seems to gbe in the same old state as when they first knocked eveything down. It's a crying shame that the government backed project should stop right now, as Sheffield was just starting to take shape. I look forward to seeing it up and running again in the near future. Read Full Story
SEO Myths
When it comes to modern SEO, there are many myths surrounding the best practice methods to implement to your campaign. There are forums and sites all around the World, which give an individual perspective on the way to do things and not to do things. One thing is for sure, SEO is an art every bit as much as a science. Some sites I look at give damning reviews about so called 'Black Hat' techniques. True, there are some big no no's when it comes to SEO, but many optimisation compani... Read Full Story
Keyword density in SEO
What is keyword density and how does it help a website in the search engines? Well, it's all about the word 'theme'.When a search engine turns up at a website to refresh the cache for the page, the thing it really wants to decide is what the page on that site is all about. Have a mix of different links and no real theme to the phrases, and the spider will struggle to keep up with what you want to get ranked for. Sheffield Shopping: The Moor
I drive past the Moor (well what used to be the Moor) about 3 or 4 times a week, and I am very excited about what lays in store for the new shopping zone. It's a bit of a shame it is taking them so long to complete it, the city centre needs sorting out sooner rather than later, especially while times are so tough. Leeds and Nottingham have had enough visitors from Sheffield over the last few decades, we need to stop this ASAP! Read Full Story

Sheffield Wednesday lose at home, United get decent point....
Another poor result for Wednesday as their yoyo form continues. Some poor decisions by the referee and a lack of clear cut chances lead to a 1 nil home defeat to Wolves. Wolves are now looking good for automatic promotion, but there is still a way to go.Sheffield United got what could be considered a decent point away at QPR. No teams will expect to take 3 points from Loftus Road these days, and a point keeps the Blades in touch with the play-off race. Read Full Story
Cafe Rouge Sheffield
For a change we (my missus, bambina and I) decided to go to Cafe Rouge in Sheffield for a spot of Sunday lunch. I love French food but never make the effort to try this Cafe next to Sheffields peace gardens.I had a steak and fries with a butter sauce, which was ok but nothing special. I could taste the charcoal of the grill on the edges of the steak, despite it being cooked medium. My partner has chicken with potatos and the potatos were not cooked through properly.Nice idea to pop out for di... Read Full Story
