It is with apprehension and undercurrents of surprise that I realise the BBC are seemingly serious on their desire to make a big screen “Dr Who” for the masses.  An actor recently gave the following confused look... SO George Clooney has dropped out of the Man from Uncle (remake one million and counting) - I really thought he would be see himself as perfect for the role, as they will be setting the film in the 60’s to  mimic the feel of the early Bond films.   People forget he improved Solaris from the original but perhaps the camp taste was not his vibe in this spy caper. I have long been a fan of doctor who on this site and in real life. The new series is about to start (or its second half is?) this Saturday, I will endeavour to add my two penneth into the mix and see what you all think.
