Well, haven't written here in soooo long. The house we were remodeling lost the funding last October when banks were pulling up stakes on the little guys and we being some of the littlest lost our contract to finish the home. so, we acquired a piece of scrimshaw on an apparent whales tooth that I have been trying to authenticate. I paid for an on-line appraisal which stated and rather rudely that the piece was plastic, a fake, and worth about 20 bucks. Our daughters have been involved in dog handling and showing for about 9 yrs. They both can show a variety of dogs but prefer the German Shepherd breed. Last weekend on the 17 & 18 of May, 2008, our middle daughter took her brand new pup in the ring where she picked up two points on him! He is 7 months old and a beautiful dog. I'm listening to the news this morning and one of, [or maybe both] candidates are broke, oh toooo bad. We have all this hunger and poverty and God knows what else in the world and our own country and these people are spending millions on election campaigns while promising a better future?
