Mike McIntyre funnels money to Pro-Abortion candidates.

In a recent debate, Congressman McIntyre wanted to point out that most of his campaign money came from within District 7. He suggests looking where his money comes from making the point he supports local conservative values. So we did as he suggested.

He’s right. He has a strong intra-district donor ratio level. A lot of conservative, Christian, hard-working people donate to the Congressman. But something was odd.

We see where the money is coming from – but where is it going?

The Congressman has only received token Republican opposition in the past – yet there are still significant expenditures each year. So although the Congressman portrays himself as a conservative and receives money mostly from his conservative district, his expenditures reveal a different perspective – a perspective that’s a shell game of sorts.

Examining past election cycles reveals typically large amounts going to consultants and campaign staff but about a full quarter of his expenditures, which averages about $181,223.60 per election cycle, goes toward other Democratic organizations and candidates (OpenSecrets.org).

McIntyre helps underwrite Democratic candidates who are openly liberal thus laundering the money, if you will – so that conservative supporter money is funneled to liberal candidates. In fact, nearly 70% (69.26% precisely) of these donations from his money was funneled by McIntyre to pro-choice candidates, for example, who receive 100% ratings from the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and Planned Parenthood (OpenSecrets.org).

Specific candidates in which McIntyre funneled money to have received “0″ ratings from the American Conservative Union and over 90% ratings from Big Labor. They specifically include top lieutenants of Nancy Pelosi such as Rep. David Price and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn.

So although McIntyre wishes to present himself as a conservative, the scrutiny he finds himself under for the first time in 14 years reveals he has helped raise money and support liberal candidates with the money of conservative donors. McIntyre has even been a donor to the National Committee for an Effective Congress, which one of the most liberal political groups in the Nation (OpenSecrets.org).

For clarity, the National Committee for an Effective Congress only supports candidates who are “progressive” not conservative – progressive candidates by their definition support abortion, separation of church & state, gun control and environmental protection. Isn’t this an odd organization for a “conservative” candidate to send his conservative constituent money?

While leading voters to believe he is conservative, he supports very liberal colleagues who do not share the values of his district. This is called misleading his constituents if he wants everyone to look at his money.

McIntyre wants you to look at where he got it. But he doesn’t want you to know who he supported with it during times he didn’t need the money.

These are just the facts – MikeFacts.
