Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Loves Legos: Paris Fashion Week Spring 2009

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is famous for his whimsical designs--it was his teddy-bear dress that Madonna sported in the late 1980's:
His Spring 2009 collection was marked by the same whimsy: all of the designs featured at his Paris Fashion Week show revealed the designer's sense of humor. The models sported hats and glasses made of Legos as they walked in cloud-printed pants, dresses, and yes, suits. Dream suits.
I'd pay someone to wear that to a job interview. Many of JC/DC's designs were surprisingly wearable, like his feminine take on the Superman costume:
The designer also showed a yellow sequined Obama dress that is sure to be popular among political starlets like Scarlett Johannson and Lindsay Lohan:
But if you want one of these dresses, you're going to need a gold card. Castelbajac's designs are only available in a handful of stores worldwide.
