The Philippines will be represented by 23-year old Alvin de Joya at Mr. World 2010 in Incheon, South Korea this coming March.
De Joya won the right to represent his country by winning the Mr. World Philippines last night. He is a registered nurse and a part-time model. He stands 6'2" and he is from Cauayan, Isabela.

I have learned from a friend that Binibining Pilipinas 2010 front-runners Krista Arrieta Kleiner (Candidate No. 11) and Maria Venus Raj (Candidate No. 10) were the winners of special awards during the preliminary competitions yesterday. Kleiner got the Best in Talent while Raj got the Best in Regional Terno Award. This pre-pageant show was taped yesterday (February 26) and will be broadcast by GMA Channel 7 on Sunday, February 28. Carolina Rodriguez of Colombia is the winner of Top Model of the World 2010. The pageant was participated by 43 delegates from all over the world. It was held in Hohensyburg Casino in Dortmund, Germany yesterday, 21 February.
The bubbly and energetic Rodriguez also won the Best Talent award.

Miss Poland 2009 Maria Nowakowska met up with a famous Polish photographer Darek Senkowskiego last week. During the meeting, photos were made, which will promote Mary during her preparations for the most prestigious beauty pageant - Miss Universe 2010.
