I don't think we ever reported on it at the time, but back in March Andy Garcia was talking up a film called Hemingway and Fuentes, about the friendship between Ernest Hemingway and his fishing partner and longtime friend Gregorio Fuentes. At the time, Anthony Hopkins was loosely attached to play Hemingway. That casting has now firmed up, and the film will move forward with Annette Bening also aboard as Mary Hemingway.

Hollywood star Andy Garcia has arrived in Tbilisi late Sunday night for the scenes of a movie on the Russia-Georgia war from August 2008.
Garcia will be starring in the Renny Harlin film, and will play Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, The Daily Georgian Times reported.
In Tbilisi, the Cuban-American actor is going to shoot scenes in the Presidential Residence covering the period when the leaders of five European states visited Georgia...
