Bristol Palin (born October 18, 1990) is one of three daughters of former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin. Bristol Palin was the subject of controversy in 2008 after John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. At 17, Bristol was pregnant with a child fathered by high school boyfriend Levi Johnston.

Johnston's attorney, Rex Butler, said Wednesday that a formal agreement has not been reached with the online magazine but adds it's a "foregone conclusion" it will happen. The father of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's first grandchild is speaking out in Vanity Fair magazine about what went on inside the Palin household. Levi Johnston says in the magazine's October issue that the Palin home in Wasilla was different from what most people think. The 19-year-old lived with the Palins for two months awaiting the birth of the child he has with Palin's 18-year-old daughter, Bristol. The two were going to get married but called off the wedding. The mother of the man former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol had planned on marrying has reached a plea deal in her drug case. Sherry Johnston pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of possession with intent to deliver the painkiller OxyContin. Five other felony counts were dropped. Johnston was placed in pink handcuffs and taken to a correctional facility where she'll be held until her Nov. 20 sentencing. Her attorney and prosecutors have agreed to a five-year sentence, with two years suspended. The judge has the sentencing recommendation under review. The Palin family announced a statement about their 17-year-old daughter's pregnancy.  In it they stated:

"We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us," the Palin statement said. "Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned."
