Wenzel Beartooth 14- by 10-Foot 5-Person Pentadome Family Tent Tent Guide Selecting a Tent Fortunately, there are all kinds of tents for weekend car campers, Everest expeditions, and everything in-between. I’m specifically concerned about smoke from grills and gases from stoves. Thanks so much You can cook on propane stoves, and have almost no fumes. When you sit around the fire, sit upwind. I love wilderness camping in N. Canada. Up there, hardly anybody has trouble with any allergies. Setting tents up 50′ upwind from fire and cooking area cuts down smoke and fumes to almost zero.
