Chris Brown Talks Rihanna and Oprah in Candid Interview with Angie Martinez

(Photo by Elsa/Getty Images) *** Local Caption *** Chris Brown (Getty Images)more pics »Chris Brown spoke to Angie Martinez of New York radio station Hot 97 this morning, and he spilled some details on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom he's not allowed to have any contact with thanks to a court decision made earlier this year.

According to Access Hollywood, he said of being found guilty of beating Rihanna, "I’m human. If people feel a certain way, I’m not going to say they’re wrong. But it’s not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it."

He didn't offer any details about that fateful night in February, but Chris did make one promise: He'll never be abusive again. He said, "I won’t let you down anymore. That was one of the most embarrassing things for me, because of my image and who I was as a young role model to a lot of kids."

Chris also admitted that he isnt over his ex, saying, "Feelings are feelings and they don’t go away overnight. I really care about her."

And what about Oprah, who famously made Brown the subject of domestic abuse discussions on her show? "I don’t diss Oprah,” he said. “I just feel me and her did so many things together, I felt that at the time, I needed a helping hand – just talk to me and Rihanna. I’m not even saying have me on the show but… help. Just help. Because I thought that we had that relationship to where it could be like that."

He wrapped up the conversation by saying this would be the last time he'd ever discuss the abuse incident in an interview.
