Please note that this review contains adult themes and language. Naturally, not everyone shares my enthusiasm for fictional romances between two male characters. Angela A., for example, loves to read romances between a man and a woman. And that's fine; to each her own. But if you happen to share my interest, then please, read on about one of the most interesting reads I've come across in a long time. "Helens," as she calls herself, is an amateur writer in the true sense of the word; she... Read Full Story

I’ve always liked you Byron, but you never know when to shut up. Even bad men love their mommas.

Trying to acclimate myself to the western genre, I watched the 2007 remake of 3:10 to Yuma . The movie has an all-star cast with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, but the movie was mind-numbing. It was like a dead fish thrashing around.
Ben Wade (Crowe) is a famous outlaw in the Old West that is captured by rebel brigade that includes a rancher, Dan Evans (Bale). He is being... Read Full Story

Christian Bale commits. If his temper tantrum on the set of “Terminator: Salvation” wasn’t proof enough he takes his roles very seriously, consider this. Bale played FBI officer Melvin Purvis in “Public Enemies” and kept his southern accent on and off set throughout filming.
The film’s director, Michael Bay, said: “Melvin Purvis was really a southern gentleman. So Christian kept the accent for 24 hours a day. It freaked out his young daughter... Read Full Story
