Doug Blasdell was a trainer on the Bravo show Work Out. He was described by another fan as "a sensitive gay guy in a he-man's body". In early January Doug, as a 44-year-old Sky Sports trainer, died suddenly.
Doug has been training Cheo, who was his boyfriend for 14 years and is facing major surgery.
According to an inteview on AfterElton.com, Blasdell was born at St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank and went to high school in Westlake Village. During his senior year he apparently moved to northern California. The Los Angeles native earned a business degree in 1988 at the University of Southern California, and was the first in his family to graduate.
