Former country singer Eddy Arnold died Thursday morning at a care facility in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 89-years-old, and one week away from his 90th birthday. Arnold was known as a pioneer of "Nashville Sound," a mix of country, folk and pop. His first No.1 hit was 1947's "What Is Life Without Love."
