Well,there was no tradition in Poland to celebrate Halloween. A bit odd idea to laugh at the death, all the pumpkins and fancy clothes came to our country within the last years, and beside the teenagers there mainly postcard and toy sellers engaged into this custom. The elderly would shake the heads - 'Paris Hilton's Halloween dress ?' - 'Hilarious'. 'All Saints Day' ( Nov 1) is a national holiday, where in the cities the areas around cemeteries are closed for private cars, instead thousands of people use extra trams or buses prepared for holiday. After more than a year of waiting the private company has finally completed all needed permissions, and people in Krakow can enjoy.. the BALLOON FLIGHTS. Krakow as the first city in Poland, and one of few in Europe features regular baloon experience. It is actually not the full flight, but moving up and down, the baloon stays 150 m above the ground for about 10 m, and the pleasure costs 35 zl ( $10 ) adult with children and senior discounts.
