Holmes will replace Liv Tyler , who bowed out for undisclosed reasons, as the lead in the indie flick “The Romantics.” Variety reports that Holmes will also executive produce the star-studded film featuring Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong.
