Oscar Isaac has signed on for Hossein Amini’s The Two Faces of January, Variety reports. He’ll join Viggo Mortensen in the Amini’s directorial debut. Based on the 1988 novel by Patricia Highsmith (the late author of “The Talented Mr. Ripley”), January is officially described as follows: Isaac, who recently starred in Sucker Punch and who is set to lead the Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis, also appeared in Drive, scripted by Amini.
