Olympus Evolt E620 12.3MP Live MOS Digital SLR Camera with Image Stabilization and 2.7 inch Swivel LCD
I have had the E-620 for about a week and i moved from a E-510. E-510 was my first DSLR and using that over the years i have been very satisfied and happy with the 510 especially due to the in body image stabilization and lens line-up. Liveview was also a plus over competitors but i never really used it unless it was really dark or i needed to manual focus. Read Full Story
My Q Pocket Numbers Review
From:  bestdp.com
This toy looked like a lot of fun and was priced reasonably so I ordered 2 of them for gifts, the 1st one I gave and it didn’t work, so I thought it might be the batteries, which it was, but the kind of batteries that it requires was more expensive than the toy. The 2nd one also had batteries that didn’t work, so buying new batteries (and finding the right ones, the ones on the instructions were impossible to find) make the toy pricey. Read Full Story
HP Pavilion DV3-2150US 13.3-Inch Entertainment Laptop Review

HP Pavilion DV3-2150US 13.3-Inch Entertainment Laptop
Hewlett-Packard bills this dv3 as an entertainment machine but to be brutally honest, I couldn’t quite figure out why. Seems more like a standard laptop to me. The Altec Lansing SRS speakers for example, are good at creating a pseudo-surround effect, but they still sound tinny. The HDMI port can be useful in connecting the dv3 to a large-screen TV but even that’s more often than not found on more business-oriented laptops these days. There’s an HP MediaSmart Suite of applica... Read Full Story

I own a few of these, I find I need alot of portable space but I dont want to carry around an ext HDD. The drive is soooooo fast. Before this I owned a corsair voyager 16gb which was just way way too slow, this drive reminds me of my old lexar lightning. Well worth the price. Read Full Story
HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier Review

HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier (CC210A#ABA)
I figured the price of this was a little too good to be true and having only had it for a couple of weeks I’m beginning to think I was right. Bought it as a temporary printer for a homeoffice to be replaced somewhere in the nearish future – alas I’m already looking to replace it. Currently trying to run the scanner to see how good it is and alas I’m getting a “USB Not Connected” error even though it is connected as I can print. In draft mode it prints the p... Read Full Story

Eye-Fi Share 2 GB Wi-Fi SD Flash Memory Card EYE-FI-2GB-B
There are a few things that are not in the documentation or made clear in the advertising that may impact your use. 1)As mentioned in an earlier review, the application this device talks to must have an internet connection back to the Eye-Fi server to be set up. 2)The Eye-Fi will not connect to an ad-hoc network, i.e. you cannot just have it talk directly to your laptop. While you can use a small router such as the Apple Airport Express to set up a small network, then back to item #1, it must... Read Full Story
16GB Diskgo By Edge USB 2.0 Flash Drive Review

16GB Diskgo By Edge USB 2.0 Flash Drive
I had high hopes for this device. I had looked around fairly thoroughly for a USB drive that I could carry on my key chain and that had a design to protect against losing the cap. This seemed to fit the bill.Unfortunately, the ring for attaching the drive to other items is apparently too small to fit on a standard key chain, and broke within two weeks. Additionally, the swivel design just isn’t sturdy, the two pieces come apart fairly easily, and it just doesnt stay locked in place while... Read Full Story
SanDisk 4GB Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive Review

SanDisk 4GB Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive
This is a great, compact flash drive. I would recommend getting as big of a flash drive as you can reasonably afford- you’ll be surprised how useful it is if you are moving between computers. Its far better than dealing a couple of CD/DVD-Rs or file transfers.I have no need for Sandisks U3 software, so I reformatted the drive. After that, I installed Fedora Live so I can boot from the drive directly into linux. Its the fastest/easiest way to boot into Linux for my needs (student, learning... Read Full Story

Uniden CEZA1998 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone with Corded Base, Speaker Phone and Digital Answering System
I bought these phones for my 70 year old mother. She has a difficult time with most of the newer, smaller phones; both in setting them up and using them. Although the 62-page user manual intimidated her a bit, she was able to set this phone system up herself. She loves it–the big buttons, the speaker phone, and the special emergency 911 button! The telephone companies need to know there’s a whole market of older folks out there who need items like this. Read Full Story

Sony STR-DA2400ES 7.1 Channel Home Theater AV Receiver
I bought this component to take advantage of all the features of my Sony Bravia XBR KDL-52XBR6 TV and Sony BDP-S550 1080p Blu-ray Player. The integration into my system was as easy as possible with the HDMI cables. One HDMI from the Blu-ray player and one from the Comcast Hi-Def cable box into the A/V receiver. One more HDMI from the A/V receiver to the TV. Connect the 7.1 speakers and your done. Read Full Story
