Earnings June 2009
From:  munny4hunny.com
Not a bad month in June, steady earnings from a few different sources giving a total of around $90 from blogs. The last few days offered up a few dollars from Adsense, and this has continued today. I should actually be getting a payment from Adsense about now anyway... I have said this before, but it bears repeating, that the majority of my Adsense earnings do NOT come from blogs, but increasingly, my blogs are adding to the overall earnings. This month has seen a bit of an upturn in non-blog... Read Full Story
Finding the right supplier
From:  munny4hunny.com
Having a good industrial equipment supplier is the key to making a good job both in the workplace and in the home. I spend a lot of time in the 'off-line' world sourcing all sorts of equipment for different purposes, and I extensively use the internet to find suppliers.I have found that there is a distinct knack to using Google to find what you need and have built up some good working relationships with suppliers originally found via search engines.Often a little research is needed to find t... Massive discounts possible...
Travel firms may be forced to heavily discount their late bookings to clear 'stock' that has not been sold. Despite the downsizing of the available stock in an effort to avoid massive discounts, the travelling public have not been dipping into their savings to purchase holidays it seems. With just a month to go before the schools break up, some retailers are reporting just 65% take up whereas 80% is the norm at this point. Many holiday makers are booking just three weeks in advance for 'late' ... Read Full Story
Beckham wins libel case
I hesitate to comment on a 'tabloid' story as this blog is unconcerned with most of what happens off the field for David Beckham. However as this comes when there is a lull between the end of Milan's season and when Beckham resumes at The Galaxy, we will make an exception. In short, Beckham has made The Express Group of newspapers pay an undisclosed sum for it's childish insinuations in one of it's 'rags' that Beckham 'made a play' for some Hungarian model. We who have watched his career for so... Bank of England expresses concern
Bank of England Governor Mervyn King states that the UK economy is 'more uncertain then ever'describing the level of Government debt as 'extraordinary'. According to leading economists the UK will sink into more debt than any other developed country in the world next year.If this were coupled with an upturn in the economy in general then you could offset the cost against tangible results, however although some industries are reporting stability, there are likely to be significant job losses y... New Survey from dNeero
From:  munny4hunny.com
Another survey to keep the cents trickling in...This one is on endurance athletics and the possibilities of long-term benefits or long-term dangers. I think it is possible to go too far, but for the majority, any exercise has to be a good thing. Read Full Story
Sir Fred gives in...
Under threat of legal action from his former employers Royal Bank of Scotland, Sir Fred Goodwin has handed back over half of his £703,000 pension 'entitlement' leaving him just £342,000 a year to survive on (living abroad in retirement since living in the UK apparently doesn't agree with his health or well-being...).The bank's chairman Sir Philip Hampton said: "I am very pleased that we have resolved a situation that has been a difficult and unhappy one for all the parties involved, and it is... Update
From:  munny4hunny.com
I am happy with my new (secret) SEO project so far, I still have quite a lot of content to put on the site, but is getting search results already and a couple of ad clicks have been generated. I have monetised with eBay partnership and some affiliates, this will hopefully yield something in the long-term. I will also try registering some of the URLs with fixed advert providers to see if I can get some regular income from that direction. Right now, I would be happy if I could show that the sit... Beckham's break
David Beckham having finished the Serie A season with Milan, and having taken part in two (winning) internationals with England - has a break for a few weeks before returning the The Galaxy next month. The Los Angeles team are sorely missing some 'edge' having had a less than impressive start to the season. The Galaxy are lying 6th in the league with a tally of 15 points from 15 games and a goal difference of -1. If Beckham is to make an impact on this team, he will need to do it quickly...Wi...
