InBev Strike Threatens Supplies of Belgian Beer

Workers of AB InBev stand on a picket line as they strike outside the InBev Brewery on January 13, 2010 in Leuven, Belgium. AB InBev workers are blockading the gates of three of Anheuser-Busch InBev breweries in Leuven, Jupille and Hoegaarden as they protest against the company's proposed workforce cuts. InBev, the world's largest brewer, plans to cut around 10% of its western European workforce. It is reported the Belgium Supermarket’s stocks of beer, produced by the Brewery, are running low due to the blockades.
