Sigourney Weaver is an Academy Award nominated American actress. Born to an actress and an NBC television producer, Weaver knew she'd be a performer from an early age. She graduated with an MFA from Yale's School of Drama, where she studied with Meryl Streep. Weaver has been a popular actress since the early 1980s, but she's best known for playing Ripley in the 'Alien' series.
