(Getty Images)more pics »This year's lineup for the Beale Street Music Festival was announced Thursday, and it promises to be a memorable year for the opening weekend of the Memphis in May festival. Throwback '90s acts like Limp Bizkit, Goo Goo Dolls and Blues Traveler promise to please the crowd the opening night.

Beale Street should draw a more diverse crowd on the sedond day with acts like the up-and-coming Colbie Caillat, the venerable Jerry Lee Lewis, and the visually spectacular Flaming Lips. If you aren't familiare with the Lips' acclaimed live shows, do yourself a favor and check out the video footage from their now legendary Oklahoma City Zoo performance.

Sunday will close things right by giving people a real reason to dance when seminal funk band Earth, Wind & Fire closes the festival. Three-day tickets for the festival are already being sold at TicketMaster.com for $65 before taxes and fees.
