Photo Agency and via The Cut. These pieces no longer inspired by Blair Waldorf? Anna Sui 's much-anticipated collection for Target is set to hit stores this fall, but it's unclear if it will still be marketed as a "Gossip Girl-inspired" line. Essentially, the company is reportedly uncomfortable being associated with a show in which teenagers get drunk, high, and do other questionable things all the time. The New York Daily News reports that Target pulled out of an agreement to film a scene of Gossip Girl in one of Anna Sui's New York stores (with models as extras wearing Sui's designs for Target ... Getty Images and via The Cut. NY Mag 's The Cut has leaked pictures of Anna Sui 's upcoming Gossip Girl -inspired line of dresses for Target, and for the most part, it looks awesome. The looks - 19 in all - will hit Target stores on September 13. The Blair Waldorf-inspired dresses are my favorite from the collection: via The Cut. It's safe to say Blair would approve of the Mary Janes the stylists used to model the looks. Sweet looks - and for a lot less cash than you'd pay for any of the duds they actually wear on the show. Anna Sui is launching a (new) hair care line and ad campaign. Already available in Japan, and time tested on Sui's runway, the line is shaping up to be consumer ready. The collection of shampoo, conditioner, and repairing oil treatment carries Sui's signature rosewater scent. The ever trendy and traditional Sui rose also appears on the lovely lavender shampoo bottles.   The best part about this new launch is that Agyness Deyn is said to be the face of the campaign. Already a seasoned Sui girl, Deyn walked the runway with fellow brits Lily Donaldson and Daisy Lowe, in February .  by Arielle Garder, ... Read Full Story

Wednesday night was the Anna Sui fashion show at the main tent in Bryant Park. Swoon - the dresses with the ruffled hems, swoon - the ethnic prints inspired by the spanish, swoon - bright bold colors - purple, orange, blue and green. It was so nice to see richness rather than the typical, boring earth tones. Peasant dresses, capris and shorts bounded down the runway in a true youthful, relaxed and chic, Anna Sui fashion. You know a show is going well when the models look like they are having fun. Energy was high because that is what she brings to her collection ... Read Full Story

The only designer that does Boho right is Anna Sui. Anna Sui's was pure unadulterated fun, with models who smiled, had punky stripes in their hair and and wore outfits that somehow merged the 30s with the 70s. Sui concentrated on funky prints, great colour combos and mixing textures like chiffon and denim, silk and sequins, for a beautiful collection that put a modern spin on very retro shapes. Though hard to wear in reality, the high-waisted hotpants teamed with puff-sleeved blouses and layered tops were really cute, as were the signature printed dresses in diaphanous fabrics. Easy tailoring was gorgeous too, with great ... Read Full Story

Anna Sui, Fashion Week Spring 2010 I think of Anna’s style as Betsey Johnson gone goth.  Not really my thing, but I appreciate that she has a distinct point of view.

I admit, I was never a fan of FitFlops, but now that the brand has enlisted Anna Sui to design a line of cozy boots, I might reconsider. FitFlop - known for designing footwear that's biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them - has collaborated with the bohemian designer to create these Shakoha Shearling Boots ($290). The line will be exclusively available at Net-A-Porter.com on Nov.11 and...
