Diane Keaton has made a second career out of buying and restoring some of the most remarkable real estate in Southern California. Now, Architectural Digest has images of the popular actresses newest project located (quite obviously from the shot above) at 820 Roxbury. The story goes according to AD: "[Keaton] actually bought the house when it first came on the market at the beginning of the decade, but she backed out during escrow and let another buyer take it. “It needed a lot of work,” she explains, “and I got cold feet.” When it went up for sale again two years ago, she bought ...

The gays love Diane Keaton best in "Baby Boom" and the absolute best in "First Wives Club" with Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn . But, of course, there is so much more to celebrate about the Oscar winner's film career as she turns 63 years old today. There's the brilliant comic actress in "Annie Hall," "Baby Boom," "First Wives" and opposite Jack Nicholson in the glorious "Something's Gotta Give" (pictured, left) which earned Keaton the Golden Globe Award and her fourth Oscar nomination (She won in 1978 for "Annie Hall"). Diane Keaton's colorful fashion sense transfers to interior design in her Los Angeles home. These shots from Architectural Digest show her gorgeous Bel Air Bungalow with its romantic Spanish inspired interiors. Keaton worked with designer Stephen Shadley to restore the 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival home and the results are quintessentially California at its best. Above a Robert Frost quote frames the kitchen, brightened by vintage California tile and a 1950's chrome O’Keeffe & Merritt range. 1920's Calco Sconces are mounted above the Shadley designed bed in the master bedroom (right). Below, the breathtaking exterior of Keaton's home is dramatic but comfortable. To see all ...

The November issue of Architectural Digest featured the home of actress Diane Keaton . The home is simply fabulous--a 1920's Spanish Colonial Revival by architect Ralph Flewelling. Here's a peak at some of my favorite shots of the house: [all photos from www.architecturaldigest.com ] I think the thing I love most about this house is that there's absolutely nothing pretentious about it. I mean, it's Diane Keaton's house! And while the house is undoubtedly very expensive (it's in Beverly Hills, after all), the look seems like something that's very attainable by the average homeowner if they know what items to look for. Oh sure, ...

Good evening everyone.
I'm sick and pretty much down for the count tonight while Mrs. Arrowhead Pride (emphasis on the "r" nowadays) is out with a friend to see...Diane Keaton. Yeah. Diane. Keaton. I mean, is she really that intriguing that people will pay to hear her just talk? I really don't get it. The ladies of AP (all four of you...
