Actress Jennifer Grey starred alongside Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing.Jennifer Grey is best known for playing 'Baby' alongside Patrick Swayze in the hit film Dirty Dancing. Grey starred in several films since then, but none nearly as iconic as her first big hit. Jennifer Grey was romantically involved with both Matthew Broderick and Johnny Depp before ultimately marrying film director Clark Gregg. The couple had their first daughter in December of 2001.
Jennifer Grey had plastic surgery in the early 1990s that drastically changed her appearance. She later tried to repair damages done by the surgery, but never regained her original look. Grey once commented on the impact of the botched rhinoplasty to her career; "I went in the operating room a celebrity, and came out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible."
Patrick Swayze died in mid-September 2009 from complications caused by pancreatic cancer. His death sparks a renewed interest in his historical film roles, including Dirty Dancing.

The TV Guide channel has announced that they'll be showing a marathon of Dirty Dancing from noon until midnight on Christmas day this year. It makes no sense, other than as a welcome break from Christmas programming, and we love it. [TV Squad]

One of the stranger quirks of the holidays on television is the way networks and channels program. Movie marathons have become very common, especially TBS's tradition of 24-hours of A Christmas Story. Now, another network is following in TBS's tradition by scheduling a movie marathon of its own.
