(Photo Agency)more pics »Jim Threapleton is a British director and writer. He was married to actress Kate Winslet from 1998 until 2001. They have a daughter, Mia Honey Threapleton.
He and Winslet met on the set of the film Hideous Kinky, and married shortly after in a small ceremony in Reading, Berkshire, where Winslet was born.
He's since branched out, writing and directing the flm Extraordinary Rendition in 2007, a sci-fi thinker that debuted at the 2007 Locaro Film Festival.
