Rocker Sammy Hagar a Republican?
The List of Classic Rockers turning Republican appears to be getting longer and longer. So far, in the GOP camp, or leaning GOP include:
Gene Simmons of KISS
Alice Cooper
ZZ Top
Ted Nugent
Steely Dan
And now, add one more to the List.
Heavy rumors cirulating that Sammy Hagar may perform at the Republican National Convention set for Minneapolis later in the month.
Hager is famed for his "I can't drive 55."
Let's hope Republican In Name Only Senator John Warner is in the audience, when Hagar lets it rip on that particular track. It was Warner who recently suggested that a return to the 55 mph speed limit would be a good way of weaning Americans off of foreign oil.
