The Karate Kid: The Cobra Kai were Losers

I grew up in the 80s and remember watching "The Karate Kid" countless times. The Cobra Kai, the renegade group of karate teenagers included leader Johnny Lawrence, Bobby, Tommy and the psychopath Dutch. Here were a group of teenagers that expended a lot of energy on beating up Daniel Larusso, and making his life a nightmare. They actually almost kill him in one scene by throwing him down a hill while he was riding his bike home. I recently watched "The Karate Kid" again on AMC and realized something, the Cobra Kai were a bunch of losers.

The main reason the Cobra Kai are a bunch of losers is because they are high school seniors that still take karate. I always assumed that young kids and older adults took karate. These Cobra Kai should have concentrated on getting laid and drunk. They should be thinking about going to college, and not beating up some poor kid from New Jersey.
