Still susceptible to sun after accutane! [accutane] [back of my neck]
Hey, I was on accutane for only 4 months to 40 mg. I got in late July. Recently, because her resume to get warm, but I burned the back of my neck. Next week, my neck was very dry and flaky. When I was on Accutane, I went on a cruise in April, and I really brown and not burned, which made me very happy. Approximately one week after I have brown, my skin got very dry and flaky. Why is this a week after Im in the sun? Ive always been this way? I realize it now? Please help! I also have hair loss but thats another story! Its been 8 months! Ive never peeled before, when I burned.

THe next week my neck was very dry and flaky. When I was still on accutane, I went on a cruise in April, and I got really tan and not burned which made me really happy. About a week after I got all tan, my skin got REALLY dry and flaky. Why does this happen like a week after i'm in the sun? Have I always been this way? Am I just realizing it now??? Please help!! I also have hair loss, but thats a different story! It's been 8 months!!! I've never peeled before when I burned.

did you say you have been off the accutane for 9 month? it shouldnt have anything to do with your dryness. maybe you were out of the sun for such a long time that when you got exposed your skin coudn take it and it burned more quickly, also, do you use any sunscreen? moisturizer after taking a bath?
