Well my dad took in our 04 RL for some maintainece and they gave him this 09 TL.  

No major issues with the car after 90,000. I have had to replace 2 front engine mounts, but that's it. No other issues. Cost of repairs can get high, but that can be tempered a bit with buying parts from a Honda dealership or online.

However, we have no problem recommending the more civilized Volkswagen to those who find the Infiniti's enthusiasm a bit over the top.

I have 1999 Acura 3.2TL, I have 118000 mile on it and sounds like it has a transmission problem. I bought this car second at 107000 miles on it without doing research on transmission problem. Now feel like ripped off.
