Adelle Geniella is a former high school cheerleader. When kicked off the cheerleading team, she and her family went public with pictures that her former cheerleading coach, Carlie Beck, had taken for Playboy, which resulted in Becks dismissal.
Adelle Geniella and her family appeared on the Today show today, defending their decision, and saying it was a matter of standards. “When I found out about it, I definitely lost respect,” Adelle, 14, told Matt Lauer. “That’s not where my morals stand.”
